History: In 1968, after working in the materials
handling industry since the tender age of 13, Jack Balint dreamt of a better way. In fact, he was so sure
of it he left the Clark dealership he was working for to
found a company that would match his vision and ideals.
Focused on complete customer satisfaction, Jack set out
to redefine the materials handling industry with
revolutionary customer service. By not losing sight of
the importance of excellent service after the sale, he
was able to deliver a level of support that was unlike
anything the industry had ever seen.
Starting out as a one man show, and working out of the
smallest room in his home, Jack slowly constructed,
molded and refined his dream into what it is today: The
Advantage Materials Handling Group.
The business rapidly outgrew the one room office (and
subsequently 3 other locations) before finally settling
in our current 25,000 square foot state of the art
facility. Our original payroll of one has evolved into a
team of 35 professionals that make up the Advantage
team.
As our companies begin their second generation of
leadership, our mission is still the same as it was when
Jack first dreamt it: Complete Customer Satisfaction and
service after the sale
