Privately owned home. A response to the glutted home sales market. We've turned our house to another use that will probably pay for the house and give us some extra spending money!
The house sleeps eight women who wish time and place to work on their artisan crafts. A crafter's retreat offers the opportunity for adult women to indulge in an extended slumber party with their friends, as well has share their creativity, knowledge, skill, and fellowship in completing unfinished projects, or making a serious start on the next one. The work studio is equipped with twelve very sturdy, tables my husband built to meet the requirements of heavy sewing machines. Each table is 3x4' and is polyurethaned to make them water proof. Conference table chairs with lumbar support and height adjustment allow for long hours of productivity. Custom full spectrum lighting assures proper color selection. Design wall for quilters and fiber artists. Perimeter line 3 feet off the wall allows for show and tell or a drying line. Laundry Room with slop sink allows for dyeing, batiking, whatever your creativity suggests.
